Dear Jubilee family,

We are all aware of the constant and troubling news about the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in our world today. Many are worried about their own health, and the health of their loved ones, especially those who already have underlying health risks. Although there are few cases in our part of the world, we are taking this risk seriously and want to help you in managing your risk of infection as well as encourage your faith in God through this time.

We still plan to gather for Sunday services, but with extra precaution. We will continue to monitor and update as the situation unfolds.

What we are doing for our Sunday Services

We are increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting highly trafficked areas as well as high touch surface areas and doorknobs.

We will give special attention to our Jkids environments.

In support of your personal health and hygiene, we are placing additional alcohol-based hand sanitizers throughout our facilities.

Communion will be distributed in single serving.

We will temporarily pause serving coffee. Feel free to bring your own, however.

Things you can do to help

We can serve one another by staying home when we aren’t feeling well.

Respect personal space. We are a loving bunch, but understand not everyone is comfortable with hugs and handshakes. Let’s not hold back though on the smiles and warm “hellos”!

Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.

Guard your heart from fear and maintain confidence in Jesus.

Be compassionate toward those who are afraid.

Serve those who are ill or have been affected financially.

Pray especially for those in particularly vulnerable areas.

If you’re unable to attend, stay connected through our podcast and shift your in person giving to online giving through our website or app to that we can continue to serve our city.
Followers of Jesus need to be wise and make good choices to maintain good health. However, the Scriptures help us to realize that fear and anxiety are not to dominate our lives. “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?” --Luke 12:25-26

We are aware that the progression of this national issue is changing daily. We will continue to keep you up to date regarding any adjustments to our regularly scheduled gatherings.

Love you loads,

On behalf of your elder team - Bryan
