Moreover, to stay in tune with this mission, we need consistent envisioning or we begin to forget the mission we’ve been called to (the vision dies – Proverbs 29:18). With this in mind, the elders put a high value on Jubilee Church being … [Read the rest of this post]

Draught and famine has surrounded our Newfrontiers family in Kenya. In the post below, Nigel Ring, Administrator for Terry Virgo gives us an update of Kenya’s crisis:
The most severe crisis of drought and famine that has been faced by the Horn of Africa for over half a century has now been impacting several nations for over one year. Our involvement with churches in Kenya has enabled a crisis fund, currently standing at £230,000, to be channelled direct to places of the most severe need through this network of churches in the tribal semi-arid desert regions of Samburu and Turkana.

Terry Virgo is a well-respected speaker and author as well as the founder of Newfrontiers, the family of churches that Jubilee Church is a part of:
The video below is from a series of short interviews (3-5 minutes) which I recorded with my son Simon, looking at the seventeen values that have helped to shape my ministry over the years. We will continue to add more of these interviews on a weekly basis.
The second value is:
‘A church where regular teaching and preaching of the Bible holds a primary role and where Scripture’s authority is final.’ This is

In the recent survey taken at Jubilee, it was discovered that many have never been to a Newfrontiers USA conference or read much about our Newfrontiers connection and mission. Our church is a part of a wider family of churches called Newfrontiers. This worldwide family of churches began in England with Terry Virgo, whom the Lord used to proclaim the grace message of the gospel and build and oversee churches across England and the world. Check out Terry’s blog for great bible studies, messages and other great resources.

Spending time in Mexico was a great experience. The people of Mexico are some of the most warm, loving, accepting and hospitable people that I have ever met. As soon as I stepped foot into the church in El Camino, I was greeted like family. Moreover, the love they have for God & one another was very, very clear. They love to be with each other, and love to be in the presence of God. They truly believe the Psalm of David, “Better is one day in your court than a thousand elsewhere.” Who wouldn’t want to be a part … [Read the rest of this post]
